Deep ruby red with purple highlights.

On the nose

Concentrated nose revealing notes of garrigue, violets and black spices (pepper). A touch of leather and empyreumatic (smoky note).

At the palace

Ample, supple and fresh on the palate. Lovely structure with fine tannins. Lingering finish of spices and red fruit.

Soil

This cuvée comes from vines planted on very steep slopes, on terraces supported by low dry-stone walls known as "chalets". The main exposure is south-southwest. Production hardly reaches 40 hectoliters per hectare due to the shallow granite soil.
