Jaillance, a human adventure
This is the essence of Jaillance. This unique bond that unites each of our winegrowers. This way of working in harmony with nature and people creates fulfilling living conditions and contributes to our shared history. This commitment is reflected in our unique sparkling wines, which bear witness to the excellence of a know-how that has been preserved and passed down from generation to generation.
1950-1951
Creation of the Cave Coopérative de Die
Under the impetus of Henri Bonnet, 266 winegrowers from the Diois region decided to join forces in the Coopérative de Die to promote the development of their production. This founding act gave birth to the structure that today owns the Jaillance signature.

The rise of Clairette de Die in France
This is the first major demonstration of the commercial dynamism that continues to drive the Cooperative. An initial communication campaign is launched. At the same time, a new sales team set out to conquer the mass retail market and make Clairette de Die available in regions where it was still virtually unknown.

1975-2000
Launch of the Clairdie brand
The Cooperative's first major marketing initiative, the creation of the Clairdie brand, was a great success. During countless in-store tasting days, Diois winegrowers introduce consumers to their terroir and the wines they produce. Thanks to Clairdie, Clairette de Die conquered the whole of France.

2001
Birth of the Jaillance signature
The name Jaillance was created for two reasons: to make things clearer for the public, confused by the phonetic proximity between "Clairdie" and "Clairette de Die", and to enable the cooperative to put its signature on a variety of AOC sparkling wines.

Jaillance, sparkling terroirs
Adorned with its new name, the Cooperative has new ambitions: to offer a wider range of sparkling wines under the Jaillance signature. The Brouette winery, which produces Crémants de Bordeaux in Bourg sur Gironde, was selected and bought out to ensure optimum control over wine quality and ageing. Partnerships are signed with some of the best producers in the Vouvray and Crémant de Bourgogne appellations, according to precise "Jaillance" specifications.

The winery is investing for the future.
Despite a difficult economic context, Jaillance remains dynamic, thanks to a new, long-lasting communication universe that symbolizes all the company's values: quality, elegance, modernity... Jaillance strengthens its presence with its customers, and continues its development with a view to profitability. A new production site is set up in Peujard to produce Crémant de Bordeaux. In Die, new buildings are erected to optimize production facilities.
