Preparation
Make sure your Clairette de Die is chilled. Place it in the fridge for a few hours before serving (preferably the day before), to reach the ideal serving temperature of around 6-8°C.
Observation
Carefully pour the Clairette de Die into the glass, tilting it slightly. Observe the Clairette's color, which is generally straw-yellow with golden highlights.
Tilt the glass and watch the fine, light bubbles slowly rise to the surface. Clairette de Die's effervescence adds to its refreshing, festive character.
The tasting
Clairette de Die often has floral, white fruit and citrus notes. Try to identify the different fragrances.
Take a sip and let Clairette de Die envelop your palate. Notice its natural sweetness, balanced acidity and slight hint of sweetness. Try to discern the lychee flavors and rose nuances.
