Tasting

On her dress

The color is a lovely red with purplish highlights, with excellent clarity.

On the nose

The nose evokes primary aromas of black fruit, candied fruit, spices and dried fruit. It then opens with notes of chestnut, gingerbread and blackcurrant.

At the palace

The palate is fresh and well-balanced, lingering, with lovely, luscious fruit. Tannins are present. The finish is liquorice. A fine, harmonious wine to drink now and over the next two years.

Soil

Founded in 1956, the Cave des Vignerons de Gigondas produces red wines from the Dentelles terroir, with appellations including AOC Gigondas, AOC Vacqueyras and AOC Beaumes de Venise.

A lovely red wine from a small vineyard protected by the Dentelles de Montmirail. La Font de Brèmes, a rare wine that never disappoints.
